An art furniture and collectible design collection in general made by Australian designers and modern artists are featured throughout the space including Christopher Boots, Hava Studio, Dylan Farrell, Lost Profile Studio, and Morgan Shimeld. These pieces in this interior design sit alongside a vintage 1970’s deep-green Verde Alpi marble dining table and a 1983 Porsche 911 that sits proudly on the ground floor – because a car like that doesn’t belong hidden away in a garage.

When Texas-based designer Lucinda Loya set out to transform a cold, corporate London apartment for rising model Maya Henry, there was one thing that sold her on the project: A pair of blush fringe chairs.

Since Loya was given only one month to complete the entire project, the designer placed the emphasis on adding color and personality to space, as opposed to starting from scratch. Having previously worked with Henry’s family in Texas as well as in New York, Loya had a strong foundation when looking for complete creative freedom.

This chic two-bedroom London apartment is the home for up-and-coming model Maya Henry. Loya wanted to take a young, fresh, feminine approach to outfit this flat as a stylish home for the young model. The upstairs study was transformed into a closet to accommodate this young fashionista’s growing wardrobe and accessories.

The designer always begins each project by paying attention to the classic lines and then she can infuse the space with femininity and a stylish edge. Her goal was to provide a fun, bold design for a career woman.

The former fashion and lifestyle editor is quick to point out that the original decoration by Maison Jansen is from the 1950s and the delicately painted walls, also original to the flat, from circa 1910. The entire luxury apartment serves as a backdrop to Rapin’s ever-growing collection of objects and furniture.
